<br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS RE-OPENED <br /> <br />Upon being questioned by Commissioner Finch, Mr. Thomas stated a one month continuance <br />would be enough time to sit down with the other parties and try to come to an agreement. <br />He is willing to take the initiative to convene a meeting with all parties. <br /> <br />Mr. Kliment would like to see this issue get resolved. He would take the time for <br />discussions. Mr. Ricci also feels it is reasonable to try to come to an agreement. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CWSED <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commi"sioner Michelotti, seconded by Commi...~ioner Finch, <br />continuing PUD-91-19-1M until April 27, 1994. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Hovingh, Michelotti, Finch, Wright and Chairman McGuirk <br />None <br />Commissioner Mahem <br />None <br /> <br />The motion carried. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS lNITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright advised that a neighbor complained that someone had a boat parked on <br />the street for five weeks at 2372 Calle Alegre. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked staff for a progress report on the School District regarding <br />their educational facility on First Street. Mr. Swift advised that the liaison committee <br />between the School Board and the City Council met and directed the School District staff and <br />City staff to meet and develop a plan to the satisfaction of everyone. Staff has met twice <br />with School District personnel to hear their proposals and are waiting for additional <br />information from the School District regarding their designs. Staff has asked to be kept up <br />to date on this process and will keep the Planning Commission informed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti stated her desire for the School Board to go through the public <br />noticing of this project. Mr. Swift advised that the School Board will give notice to <br />surrounding property owners through their process and was unsure if that meant mailing <br />notices. <br /> <br />Chairman McGuirk stated mobile parking lot signs are on the increase. He would like the <br />City to back up its ordinances. Mr. Swift will report at the next meeting what is being done <br />about the situation.
