Commissioner Finch feels the applicant's proposal is balanced and pleasing, whereas the staff design looks like bathroom windows. Commissioner Finch supports the applicant's design with the addition of a tree. Chairman McGuirk stated that the design proposed by the applicant is more pleasing and, therefore, supports that design option. He agrees with the addition of a tree, although he wants the 24 inch box tree size to mitigate the privacy problem immediately. A motion was made by Commi,,-~ioner Michelotti, seconded by Commi"Sioner Finch, approving the applicant's proposed plan subject to the conditious in Exhibit B, with the following modifications: Delete Condition 5. Add a new Condition 5 requiring a 24 inch box tree be planted as recommended by staff. Staff to work with the applicant and neighbors for proper placement.
