AP OVEn MINUTES PLANNlNG COMMISSION Pleasanton, California City Council Chambers 200 Old Bernal Avenue Wednesday, September 22,1993 CALL TO ORDER The Planning Commission meeting of September 22, 1993, was call to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman McGuirk. L ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Gene Finch (Alternate), Jack Hovingh, harrell Michelotti, Bob Wright, and Chairman Hal McGuirk Commissioners Absent: Marcelline Mahern Brian Swift, Director of Planning Dep ment; Dennis Beougher, Assistant City Attorney; and Terri Czapinski, Recording Secretary Staff Members Present: ~ APPROVAL OF MINUTES The draft Minutes of September 8, 1993, were approved as revised: Page 2, Para 4 -- second to last line, change Planning Comm ssion to Planning Department. Page 3, Para 2 -- In response to Commissioner Michelotti, s. Sweetnam and Mr. Iserson indicated that parking spots are not assigned. Commissione Michelotti indicated that if a problem arises, assigned parking may be a way of solving it. Page 4, Para 3 -- Commissioner Michelotti stated that she is oncerned about the parking situation, but is relying on the parking reports presented by taff and the applicant. There are times when the lot is crowded, as people like to have the pportunity to park in front of where they are going. She would like the applicants to pur ue the rear entrance. She also stated that possible assignment of parking spaces might be' order in the future if a parking problem arises. Page 8, Para 4, last sentence -- Commissioner Michelotti fu er stated that once the Zoning Administrator approves the fInal plans, it can still come bet: e the Planning Commission, as they have the right to appeal the design if it does n t conform to the PUD intentions.
