She inquired as to whether the owner will add e tra thickness of sheetrock or insulation to deaden the noise. Mr. Swift replied there is already a six-inch wall between the studio and the restaurant. When staff did the noi level test and music was played at a loud level, it could not be heard in the restaurant or kitc en which is nearest the studio. In addition, a dropped ceiling is being installed which helps to muffle any sounds.
