<br />~ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Swift requested that PUD-92-09, Walter and Corazon Panganib be continued <br />indefinitely; and UP-92-76, Bay Area Cellular Telephone Company, UD-81-30-55D, <br />Signature Properties/The Prudential Insurance Company of America, and RZ-92-7, City of <br />Pleasanton, be continued to February 24, 1993. The Commission a reed to this request. <br /> <br />4&. TED BY <br /> <br /> <br />1. Commissioner McGuirk asked if he should step down during e discussion of the <br />application for Bay Area Cellular Telephone Company, as th applicant is a <br />competitor of his employer, Pac Bell. Assistant City Attorne Dennis Beougher <br />advised that he will contact Commissioner McGuirk with a r ponse. <br /> <br />2. Commissioner McGuirk asked that staff look into the excessi e watering of the <br />median on W. Las Positas in Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br />3. Commissioner McGuirk commended his colleagues on the po ition they took <br />regarding the Design Review Board at the January 27 meetin <br /> <br />4. Commissioner Michelotti indicated that in the evening, durin non-peak hours, she <br />has had to wait a long period of time for the light to turn gr n to allow a left turn <br />from Hopyard onto Morse Drive, while there is no south bou d traffic on Hopyard. <br />She asked that staff check with Don Owen to see if this has b n corrected. <br /> <br />5. Commissioner Michelotti reported that she attended a Chamb r of Commerce meeting <br />regarding Downtown on Wednesday morning and that conce was expressed <br />regarding the opportunity to provide additional input regardin the design aspects of <br />the plan. She asked if others, such as the Design Review Bo d would be able to <br />comment on the plan. Mr. Swift clarified that a staff report i being prepared for the <br />workshop on February 23 which will contain information reg ding materials and <br />cost. He also advised that Council usually makes any item 0 the agenda open for <br />public comment. Mr. Swift stated that after the contract is Ie there will be a couple <br />of months when the design aspects could be changed. If Cou cil wanted the Design <br />Review Board or Planning Commission to review materials th s could be done without <br />slowing down the process. Commissioner Michelotti asked if it is correct that anyone <br />with concerns could provide input at the workshop on the 23r . Mr. Swift confirmed <br />that this is correct, and that this item could also be addressed t the regular Council <br />meeting on February 16 under "Items not on the Agenda." r. Swift stated that <br />copies of the staff report would be sent to the Planning Com ission.
