He was concerned about sidewalks not being on both side of all the streets in the
subdivision. This PUD was approved with sidewalks on both sides f the streets in Village
1, both sides of Stoneridge Drive, both sides in front of the school, d on the other side of
that street across the frontage of Village 2 and into Village 3. Villa 2 area is all small
private streets that basically have garage doors directly off of a narro street and there are
no sidewalks on those private streets. The sidewalks in Village 2 m der through the
greenbelt and all the units are linked by that greenbelt sidewalk. Vii ge 3 was approved
with a sidewalk only on one side. The loop street with the connecto street has sidewalks on
one side. Mr. Swift added that the Planning Commission can conditi n that there be
sidewalks on both sides; however, staff feels that this would greatly ffect the size of the
front yards and also the parking areas.

Mr. Pico had also raised an issue regarding the location recently ado ted by the Airport Land
Use Commission airport protection area and how that affects the proj t and the school site

,~

Planning Commission Minutes January 27, 1993

Page 4
