Commissioner McGuirk stated that he is aware that Cost Plus h been allowed to keep their truck/sign pending Design Review approval of a sign ordinan for Best Plaza. He asked the status of that situation. Mr. Swift stated that he will look into the matter and report back. 2. Commissioner McGuirk noted that the City has been called by a number of people near the PanCal site because of water and mud runoff, clogged drains, b es of hay blocking everything, etc. He acknowledged that the City has done everythin they can to take care of the situation. He asked who takes care of the bill for this service. r. Higdon said the subdivider pays the City a percentage of their improvement costs fo inspection. It is the Public Works Department that monitors the construction process on daily basis for erosion control, etc., even though construction is stopped at this time. 3. Commissioner Michelotti questioned Mr. Swift in regard to par 'ng requirements for a recent application for a mortuary built on Stanley Boulevard. She ted that she had just attended a small funeral there and the parking lot was full. She w concerned that if a large funeral is held there parking will be a problem. Mr. Swift replied at the mortuary was conditioned that they make arrangements with the church across the street to provide overflow parking. Commissioner Michelotti suggested that a sign s ould be put up in the mortuary parking lot noting where extra parking is available. Commissioner Finch recalled that the mortuary was supposed to hir an officer to direct people from the church to the mortuary. Mr. Swift said he would heck the conditions. 4. Chairman Hovingh noted that after four years the BMW dealer till has an excess of signage. He felt that it did not present a good image for Pleasanto and hoped something could be done about it. s...
