Commissioner Wright called staff's attention to a situation at the <br />Rita Road, noting that they have the trees so far out that the front ro <br />He inquired as to whether this is really legal. Vice Chairman McGuirk called attention to a traffic situation at th Pleasanton Middle <br />School where most of the curbs are painted red. He noted that since e school bus no <br />longer runs that traffic jams occur as parents drop off or pick up the' children. He <br />wondered whether the red curbs were an absolute necessity at this po. t or whether <br />something might be done to alleviate the traffic jam situation. Butts <br />Application for a conditional use permit to operate a landscape co tractor's equipment <br />storage yard and offices located at 3768 Old Santa Rita Road. Zo . g for the property <br />is C-S (Commercial Service) District. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case P-92-49 subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright questioned staff about the time frame in which e sidewalk would be <br />completed. Mr. Swift replied that it has been a requirement of indivi ua1 users as occupation <br />has taken place, but at a certain point it will be more appropriate to si ply finish off the <br />entire sidewalk. He noted that will probably not be done until several more approved <br />projects are built. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman McGuirk asked if the conditions of approval require e applicant to make the <br />sidewalk improvements if he decides to locate permanently.
