Commissioner Mahern expressed some concern that if the paving is n t done and the rains come that the grease, oil, etc. would go into the storm drain. Com ssioner Wright responded to her concern and felt that this would not be any worse the amount of oil that might come from an auto parked on a private driveway. In response to Commissioner Wright's question, Mr. Butts said he h additional hours as noted in the conditions of approval. Commissioner Wright felt that it was not so important that the pavin and drainage system be completed before occupancy, as trucks have been stored for years on locations that have not complied. He did not think 90 extra days would be that crucial, but ould give the applicant time to install the improvements. Commissioner Michelotti said she would rather that improvements made prior to occupancy and that she had a problem with the site being occupied b fore improvements are made. Commissioner Finch felt that as the applicant was one of the first to ave to comply with the new law that he might be given some extra time. In addition, he fel that Pleasanton needs the businessmen to keep the economy and that theTity should help . s endeavor as much as possible. Further discussion ensued about the amount of oil that might get in Commissioner Mahem stated she would favor 60 days leeway rather than 90 days. Then if the applicant needs more time he could come back.
