<br />4.a.. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Swift requested that UP-92-49, James Butts; and RZ-9-4, City f Pleasanton be <br />continued to 11/30/92. The Commission agreed to this request. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Commissioner Finch called staff's attention to an area on the south est comer of Bernal <br />Avenue and Stanley Boulevard where two sewer culverts have been stored for over a year. <br />In addition, the area has not been maintained, nor does it have any andscaping, as he <br />thought it was conditioned to do. Mr. Swift said some trees have n planted on the slope <br />bank, but until the lot that has frontage on the street is developed, tua11andscaping will not <br />be installed. He said he would check into the culvert issue and will report back to <br />Commissioner Finch. <br /> <br /> <br />regard to the trailerl sign <br />last night's Design <br />e would report at the <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk asked whether any action has taken place . <br />at Cost Plus. Mr. Swift replied that the application was addressed <br />Review meeting but he was not sure of the outcome. He indicated <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Chairman Hovingh asked if the Commission could appeal the decisi regarding Cost Plus if <br />they did not like the outcome of that meeting. Mr. Swift advised th Y would have 15 days in <br />which to appeal the decision, should they choose to do so. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk called attention to the building just vacated y Simon's in the Rose <br />Pavilion and noted that the space left by the removed signage is una tive. He wondered <br />what the process might be to correct that. Mr. Swift said there is n process to take care of <br />that situation. Ordinarily, the signs have to be removed in a certain riod of time after a <br />business goes out. However, he would have staff check on the ma r. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk also called attention to an area of girls' soft all field No.4, at the <br />Sports Park, noting that it is very muddy. Mr. Higdon advised that e would check into the <br />matter. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti called attention to a traffic area from Mohr Avenue to Valley <br />Avenue via Kolln Street which goes all the way through. She indica the residents in that <br />area are complaining about people cutting through there to avoid the top lights. She asked <br />if there had been any meetings in regard to this. Mr. Higdon stated ere had been no <br />meetings on this matter. Mr. Swift noted that the Council has establi hed a three-way stop <br />sign at Morganfield Street and Kolln.
