Commissioner Fioch discussed Mr. Archer's suggestions with Mr. wift and felt that Mr.
Archer had raised a good issue. Commissioner Finch questioned wether this situation might
happen again to another developer. Mr. Swift replied that it could appen again, but is not
the usual thing. Typically, Growth Management approval is good fi r about two-and-one-half
years from the time a developer receives approval. The tentative m p is good for two years.
This tentative map was approved within the first six months; therefi re, it happened that it
ran out before Growth Management approval. In prior times, all fi at maps have been
approved well within the two and one-half year Growth Manageme period. What is
holdiog up the project is lack of funds to get the final map.

In response to Commissioner Finch's concern, Mr. Swift replied th the procedure could be
changed. Discussion ensued; however, the Commission concluded at if the policy were
changed that it could create problems with Growth Management app oval.

A motion was made by Commi....ioner Wright, seconded by Co . sioner McGuirk
approving the time extension on Tract 6339 subject to the condit ons listed in Exhibit B,

ROLL CALL VOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Commissioners Mahern, McGuirk, Michelotti, Wrigh , and Chairman Hovingh
None
None
None

Resolution No. PC-92-90 was entered and adopted approving Tract

Item 5,f, T 6 rrin nst ti n om n
Application to subdivide an approximately 91-acre site into 55 s' gle-family lots and
one, approximately 41-acre open space lot located at SOlS Footh' Road, Zoning for the
property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Rural Density R idential/Low Density
Residential District,

Continued to 11/11/92.

Item S.I!. 1 M h mi ci es I
Application to subdivide an approximately lS,6 acre parcel into 2 lots located at the
southwest corner of the Sunol BoulevardlI-680 intersection, Zo ' g for the property is
PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low Density Residentia ) District,

Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommendiog approval of Tract Map 6581 subject to
the conditions listed io the staff report.
