<br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBER.s <br /> <br />~- <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright called staff's attention to the oriental restau t nearest Kentucky Fried <br />Chicken, noting that the landscaping at that location is in very poor condition, He hoped that <br />the City could do something about this. Mr. Swift indicated that s f would call the owner's <br />attention to that situation, <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright called staffs attention to a section of Hopy d Avenue between <br />Hansen and Black Avenues, noting that it is in a very poor conditi n. Mr. Higdon advised <br />that it had been scheduled for repair in the summer; through a new program some Federal <br />funds appear to be available; however, temporary repair will be d e until those funds come <br />through. <br /> <br />Commissioner Horan called attention to the soundwall area along ottinger Ranch nearest St. <br />Augustine's Church, noting that the weeds are becoming very tall. He questioned whether <br />this is the responsibility of the homeowners' association. Mr, Swi t replied that it is the <br />homeowners association's responsibility and they would be contact <br /> <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />PUD-92-3. Harbor View Investment. Inc. <br />Application for development plan approval for a two- and th <br />residence hotel to be located on an approximately 3.S8 acre sit <br />Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (planned Unit Develop <br />Offices. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of C se PUD-92-3 subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report. Mr. <br />Swift advised that the Wells Fargo project could actually be on ne before the Harbor View <br />project. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk asked staff if there is a concern regardi g the need for a conference <br />center in Pleasanton.
