<br />Mr. Iserson asked Commissioner Horan, for purposes of clarificati n, if he would support <br />flexible zones if they could be constructed near budget; Option B3' less than 20% over <br />budget. Commissioner Horan replied that he still would not be in vor of flexible zones. <br /> <br />Chairman Hovingh was opposed to flexible zones as defmed in Op on A or B. <br /> <br /> <br />7. H flexible zones are used, should a modified design trea ent for the flexible <br />zone be developed for the area between the Arroyo and t. John Street so that an <br />additional travel lane can be added when necessary with ut additional cost? <br /> <br />The Commi<<~ion agreed unanimously in favor of an ext <br /> <br /> <br />A, Option H, a less <br />lternative of Option C <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Which design option for Main Street is preferred: Opti <br />costly alternative of Option H, Option C, or a modified <br />which can be designed to accommodate outdoor dining? <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commi<<~ion was in favor of an Op ion D (described by Mr. <br />Freedman), include as many amenities as possible as d ribed in the various <br />options, but still stay within the budget. This option wo ld be a variation of <br />Option C, but with wide sidewalks and parallel parking. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright favored interlocking pavers with accent ma rials utilized. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mahem favored interlocking pavers with accents an a band around the <br />planters. <br /> <br />The Commission agreed they favored street trees within the parkin lanes.
