<br />~ <br /> <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-91-16, subject to <br />the conditions of the staff report. He noted the requested hours are 'fferent than those of <br />the other massage studio that is downtown, <br /> <br />mE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />Katherine Lake, 750 Avalon Way, Livermore, represented the appli tion. She said she has <br />reviewed the staff conditions and concurs with them. She called a ntion to Condition 3, <br />noting that it refers to two licensed therapists. She noted that at the present time she will be <br />the only therapist on the premises at the date of opening the massag studio; however, she <br />would like to be able to have a second therapist at a later date. <br /> <br />Commissioner Michelotti questioned Ms. Lake as to why she is req esting different and <br />longer hours on Saturday than the other studio. Ms. Lake replied at her clients are <br />primarily from Club Sport and that Saturday is the prime time for a large number of people. <br /> <br />In response to a comment from Commissioner Wright, Ms. Lake lied that at the present <br />time she will be limiting her own hours to 20 hours a week. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commi<<~ioner McGuirk, seconded by C <br />making the conditional use permit f'mdings and approving Case <br />conditions listed in Exhibit "B", with the following modification: <br /> <br /> <br />. ioner Horan <br />-92-16 subject to the <br /> <br />o That Condition 3 be modified to read: "Only two .censed mA<<<<lIge <br />therapists (including the applicant) shall be allowe with this permit.
