He advised that the only diffi rence in this case is that <br />the Commission cannot change the Plan. He stated that the Plan . g Commissioners are <br />appointed to do this task and it is their obligation. <br /> <br />Emily Carson, 2574 Skimmer, stated that she feels it behooves the Planning Commission to <br />take some stance and go forward with this resolution. She advised that she served as a <br />member of the residential committee, and she does not feel the Ex utive Committee <br />represented the full 200 person committee. <br /> <br />Karen Wilson, 807-A Palomino Drive, stated that she thinks it is e Planning Commission's <br />responsibility to let the community know its position on this Meas reo <br /> <br />Kay Ayala, 4515 Gatetree Circle, advised that she feels she rep <br />and that the average citizen does not understand the Plan. She asked the Planning Commissio <br />so that the citizens can understand what the Planning Commission <br /> <br /> <br />nts the average citizen, <br />that they need the <br />to vote on the resolution <br />. nks about this Plan. <br /> <br />Alan Winslow, 28 Castlewood Drive, stated that he feels it is appr priate for the Planning <br />Commission to consider a resolution because Measure K is an am dment to the General <br />Plan. He noted that the Planning Commission members are expe on the General Plan and <br />it is their responsibility to take a position. <br /> <br /> <br />which developed the <br />ning Commission should <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Ian Berry, 4522 Gatetree Circle, stated that she feels the commi <br />Plan represented a political group not the citizens, and that the P <br />take a position. <br /> <br />David Glenn, 5650 Foothill Road, stated that the Planning Commi sion has the opportunity <br />to make a decision that will affect others for a long time to come. He further stated that if <br />the Planning Commission feels the Ridgelands Plan is not in the b st interest of the citizens, <br />the Planning Commission should indicate this. <br /> <br />Melanie MacGregor, 6546 Arlington Drive, stated that the more owledge the average <br />citizen is given, the better, and that she hopes the Planning Comm ssion will take an action <br />tonight. . <br /> <br />Peggy Purnell, 2472 Via dellos Milagros, noted that she was a m mber of the original <br />Ridgelands Committee and attended all but three of the Executive ommittee meetings. She <br />stated that she appreciates the Planning Commission coming forw d to take an action. <br /> <br />Terry Spraggins, 7024 Corte Del Oro, stated that she feels it is th responsibility of the <br />Commission to take a stance in opposition to Measure K tonight. <br /> <br />Richard Dobbs, 3616 Portsmouth Court, asked that the Commissi n consider giving some <br />direction as to what the Planning Commission considers to be a g or bad plan.
