<br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of C PUD-92-7, subject to <br />the conditions of the staff report. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HRARTNG WAS OPENF.1l. <br /> <br />Veroncia Fenchel, 2432 Bay Meadows Circle, Pleasanton, repre nted the application. In <br />response to Chairman Mahern's question, she replied that she read the staff report and <br />conditions; she noted a correction on Page 1: they would be teac . ng kindergarten through <br />sixth grade, not through third grade. She also referred to Page 3 and Page 5, Condition 3 <br />regarding discussion of limiting use of the modular unit and as for clarification. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift explained "limiting" means that the intent is that the m ular unit will be used <br />only by the school. Ms. Fenchel noted they are leasing from the hurch and felt the church <br />will occasionally wish to use the modular for meetings, etc. Mr. wift indicated this would <br />not be a problem. However, if the church wanted to use the buil ing, it should come in with <br />a request so that adequate parking, etc. could be addressed with at applicant. <br /> <br />Ms. Fenchel requested that Condition 4 be modified to reflect tha the approval of the use <br />permit shall coincide with the school year which is based on a Au ust to August basis. <br />Chairman Mahern indicated there should be no problem with that. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Michelotti's question as to what the ventual plan is, Ms. <br />Fenchel replied they are not sure they will be at the present site fi r the three year term, if <br />their enrollment continues to increase. She felt they will eventual y have to leave the site <br />and fmd another place large enough to accommodate additional s dents. <br /> <br />Ms. Fenchel noted that the maximum number of students would <br />it to 50.
