Commissioner Horan called staffs attention to a grand openin sign at The Trophy Shop <br />on Main Street near the Community National Bank. He noted tha this business has been <br />there for a long time under the same name and questioned the leg ity of having a grand <br />opening sign at this point. Mr. Swift replied that this would be c ked. <br /> <br />2. Commissioner Horan also called attention to a few businesses <br />Christmas lights in their windows and noted they are not coming own. He expressed <br />concern that this situation may increase as time goes on. It was n ted that such lights are <br />technically supposed to come down by January 31. Some discus on ensued as to whether <br />the lights served a purpose at this time. Commissioner Michelotti noted that she liked them <br />and felt that it helped light up the downtown area at night and m it more attractive. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Chairman Mahern noted that the previous night in regard to <br />stated that letters containing ballot arguments could be presented <br />five signatures could be on a letter.
