ORDINANCE N0. 200. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND CONSENTING TO THE TRANSFER <br /> OF PORTIONS OF ROSE AVENUE, ANGELA STREET BERNAL AVENUE <br /> AND PLEASANTON AVENUE IN THE TOV~N OF PLEAAANTON TO THE <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AS COUNTY HIGHWAYS. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the Town of Pleasanton does ordain <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> SEC~I0~.i: The City Council of the Town of Pleasanton <br />does hereby consent to the portions of Rose Avenue, Angela Street, <br />Bernal Avenue and Pleasanton Avenue in the Town of Pleasanton, <br />hereinafter particularly described, becoming County highways and <br />a part of the system of highways of the County of Alameda, State <br />of California, with respect to their construction, maintenance <br />and repair, as provided in Resolution No. 48195 of The Board of <br />Supervisors of Alameda ~ounty, California, and the .City Council <br />of the Town of Pleassnton does hereby authorize the transfer and <br />conveyance of the interest of the Town of Pleasanton in the fol- <br />lowing described portions of Rose Avenue Angela Street, Bernal <br />Avenue and Pleasanton Avenue to the County of A~ameda, to wit: <br /> <br /> Rose Avenue from a point lOO feet northwesterly <br /> from the intersection thereof with the northwesterly line <br /> of Pleasanton Avenue southeasterly to a line drawn parallel <br /> to the center line of the tracks of the Western Pacific <br /> Railroad and distant northwesterly 4.65 feet~ measured at <br /> right angles thereto; <br /> <br /> Angela Street and Bernal Avenue from the center <br /> line of Pleasanton Avenue southeasterly to a line drawn <br /> parallel to the center line of the tracks of the Western <br /> Pacific Railroad and distant northwesterly 4.65 feet, <br /> measured at right angles thereto; <br /> <br /> Pleasanton Avenue from the northeasterly line of <br /> Rose Avenue northeasterly to the southwesterly line of <br /> Division Street. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be published once in <br />"The Pleasanton Times"~ a newspaper of general circulation printed <br />and published in the Town of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />urgency measure and shall take effect immediately upon passage <br />and publication. The facts constituting such said urgency are <br />as fol]~ows: said portions of Rose Avenue, Angels Street, Bernal <br />Avenue and Pleasanton Avenue are in need of immediate repair for <br />the inn~ediate preservation of the public safety and the County <br />of Alameda has appropriated funds and taken legal steps to cause <br />their i~ediate repair as part of the county highway system. <br /> <br /> ---:o0o:--- <br /> <br /> <br />
