Frank Aufder Maur, project architect, 148 Spring Street, responded to the <br /> Commissioners' questions and indicated that he would be willing to revise the roofing <br /> material to slate. The plans call for a six-foot high berm, and there will be 30 feet of <br /> landscaping in the area between the berm and the house. He did not object to low <br /> fencing. He noted that the applicant was in attendance. <br /> <br /> THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Roberts believed the presence of the asphalt batch plant in the area should <br /> be disclosed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Nerland confirmed that it was already included in the disclosure documents. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Blank moved to recommend approval of Case PUD--43 as <br /> recommended by staff, with the following modifications: <br /> 1. Add language to Condition No. 25 to indicate that the eucalyptus trees that <br /> are to be protected from removal shall not be encroached upon; and <br /> 2.
