CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS, LANDSCAPE AND <br /> LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1994-1, OAK TREE FARM (PURSUANT TO <br /> THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Landscape and Lighting <br /> Assessment District No. 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm during fiscal year 2005-06. The area of land to <br /> be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />Section 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel transition <br /> zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees in the <br /> open space and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing of water and power for irrigation <br /> systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses within Tract 6563 and 6748, and <br /> parcels B and C of Parcel Map 6259, City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an annual report, Philip A. <br /> Gmbstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a <br /> full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon <br /> assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. <br /> <br />Section 4. On Tuesday, the 21st day of June 2005, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City Council will conduct a <br /> public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual assessment. The hearing will <br /> be located in the City Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />Section 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the <br /> Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br /> Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
