CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> BONDE RANCH LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT <br /> (Pursuant to Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Lighting <br /> and Landscape Assessment District No. 1993-2, Bonde Ranch during <br /> fiscal year 2005-06. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City <br /> of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> <br />Section 2. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br /> The maintenance and repair of street lighting, designated landscaped <br /> areas, open space slopes, fuel transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, <br /> open space drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees in the open space <br /> and designated landscape areas, and the furnishing of water and power for <br /> irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses <br /> within Tract 6483 and Tract 6518, City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3. In accordance with this Council's resolution directing the filing of an <br /> annual report, Philip A. Grubstick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the <br /> City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of <br /> 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and <br /> detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the <br /> assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment <br /> district. <br /> <br />Section 4. On Tuesday, the 21st day of June 2005, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City <br /> Council will conduct a public heating on the question of the levy of the <br /> proposed annual assessment. The heating will be located in the City <br /> Council Chambers, 200 Old Bemal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />Section 5. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of heating <br /> required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. <br /> <br />Section 6.
