. PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEA ANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-93-45 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT IF THE CITY COUNCIL ENTERS INTO THE LAND USE AGREEMENT FOR THE PLEASANTON RIDGELANDS A "SUNSET CLAUSE" BE ADDED WHEREAS, at the June 22, 1993, City counci meeting, the city Council referred the draft "Agr ement covering the Ridgelands Area" and accompanying" leasanton Ridgelands Area Plan" to the General Plan Upda e steering Committee and the Planning commission for rev'ew and comment; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearin s of July 14, 1993, and July 28, 1993, the Planning Comm ssion considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning the p oposed General Plan Amendment and draft Land Use Agree nt; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined should not enter into a land us "Pleasanton Ridgelands;" hat the city Council agreement for the WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also determ Council enters into a land use "Ridgelands," a "sunset clause" sh agreement. ned that if the City agreement for the uld be added to the NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF T E CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends that if the City Counc 1 enters into a land use agreement for the "Pleasanton Ridgelands," that a "sunset clause" be added to the ag eement. Section 2. This resolution shall become effec ive immediately upon its passage and adoption.
