ORDINANCE N0. 185 <br /> <br /> AN ~RDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND CONSED~ING TO THE TRANSFER <br /> OF A PORTION OF ROSE AVENUE IN THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON <br /> TO Ti~ COUNTY OF AI~DA AS A COUNTY HIGtB~AY. <br /> <br /> The Town Council of the Town of Pleasanton does ordain as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br /> S_ECTIQ~N l: The Town Council of the Town of pleasanton <br />does hereby consent to the portion of Rose Avenue in the Town of <br />Pleasanton hereinafter particularly described, becoming a county <br />highway and a part of the system of highways of the County of Ala- <br />meda, State of California, with respect to its construction, main- <br />tenance and repair, as provided in Resolution No. 37693 of The <br />Board of Supervisors of Alameda County, California, and the Town <br />Council of the Town of Pleasanton does hereby authorize the trans- <br />fer and conveyance of the interest of the Town of Pleasanton in <br />said portion of Rose Avenue, to the County of Alameda. <br /> <br /> That portion of Rose Avenue described as follows: <br /> <br /> All of Rose Avenue, as the sauce now exists, from <br /> the northwesterly line of Pleasanton Avenue in said Town <br /> of Pleasanton northwesterly and westerly to the westerly <br /> boundary line of said Town of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> S_ECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be published once in <br />"The Pleasanton Times," a newspaper of general circulation printed <br />and published in the Town of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />urgency measure and shall take effect immediately upon passage and <br />publication. The facts constituting such said urgency are as fol- <br />lows: said portion of Rose Avenue is in need of immediate repair <br />for the immediate preservation of the public safety, and the County <br />of Alameda has appropriated funds and taken legal steps to cause <br />its immediate repair as part of the county highway system. <br /> <br /> IIqTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the Board of the Town <br />Council of the Town of Pleasanton held on the 3rd day of November, <br />1941, by Councilman Trimingham. <br /> <br /> PASSED at an adjourned regular meeting of the Town Council <br />of the Town of Pleasant on held on the 10th day of November, 1941, by' <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Trimin~hsm, Hansen, Mezza and Rivolta. <br /> <br />NOES: Councilmen None. <br />ABSENT: Councilmen <br /> <br /> ~CLERK OF THE TOWN OF PEASANTON <br /> <br /> <br />
