ORDINANCE N0. 184 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 180 OF TEE TOWN OF PLEASANTON <br /> BY AMENDING SECTION N0. 505 OF TEE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE ADOPTED <br /> BY SAID ORDINANCE NO. 180. <br /> <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton do ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1: Section No. 305 of the "Uniform Building Code, <br />1940 Edition, published May l, 1940, by Pacific Coast Building Of- <br />ficials' Conference" as adopted by Ordinance No. 180 of the Town of <br />Pleasanton as the building code of the Town of Pleasanton, for the <br />regulation of the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, <br />repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equll~ment, <br />use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings and/or structures <br />in the Town of Pleasanton; providing for the issuance of permits and <br />the-collection of fees therefor; providing penalties for the viola- <br />tion of such building code, and declaring and establishing fire zones, <br />is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 305: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or <br /> corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, re- <br /> move, demolish, convert, equip, use or occupy or maintain any build- <br /> ing and structure or any portion of any building and structure in the <br /> city, contrary to or in violation of any provision of this Code or <br /> to cause, permit or suffer the same to be done. <br /> <br /> Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the pro- <br /> visions of this Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and each <br /> such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each <br /> and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of <br /> the provisions of this Code is committed, continued or permitted, <br /> and upon the conviction of any such violation such person shall be <br /> punishable by a fine of not more than $300~00 or by imprisonment in <br /> the city jail or Alameda County Jail for not more than three (3) <br /> months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> <br /> The issuance or granting of a permit or approval of plans <br /> and specifications shall not be deemed or construed to be a permi~ <br /> for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of <br /> <br /> -1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
