ORDINANCE <br /> <br /> AN 0RDINA/~CE AMENDING SUBDIVISIONS 1 AND 1-A OF SECTION 6, AND <br /> SUBDIVISIONS 19 AND Z0 OF SECTION 10, OF ORDINANCE NO. 11~ <br /> THE TOWN OF PLEASANTON, AND ADDIi~ A NEW SECTION THERETO, TO BE <br /> KNOWN A_8 "SUBDIVISION a6 OF SECTION 8" OF SAID ORDINANCE N0. <br /> 11~ OF THE TOWN 0F PLEASANTON. <br /> <br /> The 0curtail of the Town of Pleasanton do ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: Subdivision 1 of Section 6 of Ordinance No. 11~ <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Subdivision 1: Who carries on, conducts or maintains the <br />business, trade, occupation or calling of building, or constructing <br />buildings, or roofing buildings, or laying wood floors in buildings, <br />whether by contract work or by supervision or directin8 work done o.n <br />a cost or day labor basis or in any other manner, provided that the <br />license of a builder hereunder shall not entitle the holder thereof <br />to engage in or carry on any other business or occupation for which <br />a license is required by other sections or sub-divisions of sections <br />of this ordinance." <br /> <br /> S. ECTION .~: Subdivision 1-A of Section 6 of Ordinance No. <br />llZ is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Subdivision l-A: Who carries on, conducts or maintains <br /> <br />any of the following named trades, occupations, businesses or call- <br />Lugs, whether by contract work or by supervising or directing work <br />4one on a cost or day labor basis or in any other manner, viz., (a) <br />the doing of cement work and tile work, or either; tb) the doing of <br />platering and bricklaying, or either; provided that a license to car- <br />ry on, conduct or maintain one of said businesses, trades, occupa- <br />tions or calllngs shall not entitle the holder thereof to engage in <br />the other." <br /> <br /> ~..~.CTION 5: Subdivision 19 of Section l0 of Ordinance No. <br />113 is hereby mended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Subdivision 19: Every person, firm or corporation within <br />the limits of the Town of Pleasanton collecting any articles of wearing <br />apparel for the purpose of laundrying the ssme, other than at an es- <br />tablishe~ place of business in the Town of pleasanton, shall procure <br /> <br /> - i - <br /> <br /> <br />
