<br />fire chief or assistant ;~ire chief or any nerobet of the fire department,
<br />for sufficient cause. ~t or before the ti~ae this ordinance takes
<br />f'eot the Council of the Town of' ~;leasanton shall fix the n~aber of
<br />active fire~aen who shall compose -~he fire departnien.t at the time this
<br />ordinance takes effect, and shall desiSjnate and appoint 1;he persons

<br />ordinance takes effect. 'L'hereafter, vacancies in the nmnbe2 of active
