<br />7. The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD <br />District: <br /> <br />The proposed plan is consistent with the PUD <br />purpose which encourages imagination and housing <br />variety. The project also addresses a perceived <br />community need through the provision of affordable <br />"for sale" housing. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed <br />rezoning is consistent with the General Plan and that the <br />proposed project, as conditioned, is well designed both <br />in terms of the site and its context within the existing <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Pleasanton <br />Rotary North for planned unit development (PUD) rezoning <br />to HDR (High Density Residential) District and <br />development plan approval to construct 7 attached <br />residential units on an approximately 0.56 acre site <br />located at the southeast corner of Palomino Drive and <br />Concord street, subj ect to the condi tions shown on <br />Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />section 2.
