" PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNXA RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-79 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO THE GOVERNING HACXENDA BUSXNESS PARK PLANNED UNXT DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for 1) a major modification to the governing Hacienda Business Park Planned Unit Development (PUO) to: (a) modify the site development standards contained within Table B-1 of the Park's Design Guidelines to reduce the maximum permitted Floor Area Ratio (FAR) on 24 lots; (b) change the land use designation for a 19-acre portion of site 14a from OGPD to CPD; and (c) modify Condition #13 of Ordinance No. 1325 to change the traffic requirements for future development proposals; and 2) a modification to the Development Agreements governing 262 acres of Hacienda Business Park which would lengthen the term and fix the remaining development obligations for these properties; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development - Industrial/Commercial and Office); and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 9, 1992, the Planning Commission, after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the city staff concerning this proposal, recommended approval of the proposed negative declaration prepared for the proposed modification; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission made the following findings: 1. The plan is in the best interests of the public health, safety, and general welfare: The proposed project amends a previously approved master planned business park, the Hacienda Business Park. The reduction of permitted floor area at the Park will reduce vehicular traffic, noise, and auto emissions. The inclusion of additional commercial space will provide additional shopping opportunities to the residents of Pleasanton. 2. The plan is consistent with the City'S General Plan: II
