PC-92-79 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO <br />THE GOVERNING HACXENDA BUSXNESS PARK PLANNED UNXT <br />DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for 1) a major <br />modification to the governing Hacienda Business Park <br />Planned Unit Development (PUO) to: (a) modify the site <br />development standards contained within Table B-1 of the <br />Park's Design Guidelines to reduce the maximum permitted <br />Floor Area Ratio (FAR) on 24 lots; (b) change the land <br />use designation for a 19-acre portion of site 14a from <br />OGPD to CPD; and (c) modify Condition #13 of Ordinance <br />No. 1325 to change the traffic requirements for future <br />development proposals; and 2) a modification to the <br />Development Agreements governing 262 acres of Hacienda <br />Business Park which would lengthen the term and fix the <br />remaining development obligations for these properties; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit <br />Development - Industrial/Commercial and Office); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 9, <br />1992, the Planning Commission, after considering all <br />public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations <br />of the city staff concerning this proposal, recommended <br />approval of the proposed negative declaration prepared <br />for the proposed modification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission made the following findings: <br /> <br />1. The plan is in the best interests of the public <br />health, safety, and general welfare: <br /> <br />The proposed project amends a previously approved <br />master planned business park, the Hacienda Business <br />Park. The reduction of permitted floor area at the <br />Park will reduce vehicular traffic, noise, and auto <br />emissions. The inclusion of additional commercial <br />space will provide additional shopping <br />opportunities to the residents of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />2. The plan is consistent with the City'S General <br />Plan: <br /> <br />II <br />
