PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNXA RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-76 RESOLUTXON RECOMHENDXNG APPROVAL OF THE NEGATXVE DECLARATXON FOR THE APPLICATION OF STONERIDGE REGIONAL SHOPPXNG CENTER FOR DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT APPROVAL WHEREAS, stoneridge Regional Shopping Center has applied for a Development Agreement which: (1) would allow presently permitted uses for the 15-year term of the Agreement; (2) would allow new development totalling an additional 356,000 sq. ft. of leasable floor area in additional department stores, specialty stores, and/or additional mall stores; (3) would restrict height of new improvements to that of the existing Center structures; (4) would establish minimum parking ratios and allow up to three-level parking structures; and (5) would establish and cap the owners' obligations for further traffic mitigation improvements for the 35 acres of the stoneridge Regional Shopping Center located within the stoneridge Mall Road oval; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 26, 1992, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for the Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center Development Agreement; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission has received Initial Study dated August 4, 1992, recommendations of the staff; and and reviewed the and received the WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning commission finds that approval proposed project would not have any significant effects on the environment. of the adverse NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: section 1.
