<br />PLANNING COXHISSION CITY or PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALJ:FORNJ:A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-65 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-g2-3, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE HOUSING <br />ELEMENT OF THE PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Housing <br />Element of the General Plan pursuant to Government Code <br />Section 65583 (a) (8) which requires all cities and <br />counties to conduct an analysis and undertake programs <br />for preserving existing assisted rental housing <br />developments that are eligible to change to non-low <br />income housing during the next ten years due to the <br />termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or <br />expiration of use restrictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22, 1992, the Planning commission <br />recommended approval of the proposed negative declaration <br />prepared for Case GP-92-3; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on July 22, 1992, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the city staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed update to <br />the Housing Element of the city of Pleasanton's General <br />Plan is appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-92-3, the application of <br />the City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of the <br />General Plan pursuant to Government Code Section 65583 (a) (8) <br />which requires all cities and counties to conduct an analysis <br />and undertake programs for preserving existing assisted rental <br />housing developments that are eligible to change to non-low <br />income housing during the next ten years due to the <br />termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or <br />expiration of use restrictions. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
