PLANNING COXHISSION CITY or PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALJ:FORNJ:A RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-65 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-g2-3, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the city of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Housing Element of the General Plan pursuant to Government Code Section 65583 (a) (8) which requires all cities and counties to conduct an analysis and undertake programs for preserving existing assisted rental housing developments that are eligible to change to non-low income housing during the next ten years due to the termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or expiration of use restrictions; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 22, 1992, the Planning commission recommended approval of the proposed negative declaration prepared for Case GP-92-3; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on July 22, 1992, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the city staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed update to the Housing Element of the city of Pleasanton's General Plan is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-92-3, the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Housing Element of the General Plan pursuant to Government Code Section 65583 (a) (8) which requires all cities and counties to conduct an analysis and undertake programs for preserving existing assisted rental housing developments that are eligible to change to non-low income housing during the next ten years due to the termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or expiration of use restrictions. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
