<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-64 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />CASE GP-92-3, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND <br />THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE PLEASANTON GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Housing <br />Element of the General Plan pursuant to Government Code <br />Section 65583 (a) (8) which requires all cities and <br />counties to conduct an analysis and undertake programs <br />for preserving existing assisted rental housing <br />developments that are eligible to change to non-low <br />income housing during the next ten years due to the <br />termination of subsidy contracts, mortgage prepayment, or <br />expiration of use restrictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of July <br />received a proposed <br />GP-92-3; and <br /> <br />22, 1992, the Planning commission <br />negative declaration for Case <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has received and reviewed the <br />Ini tial study dated June 5, 1992, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 22, 1992, <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed project would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends that the City council approve the Negative <br />Declaration prepared for the Case GP-92-3, the <br />Application of the city of Pleasanton to amend the <br />Housing Element of the General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 22TH DAY OF JULY 1992 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />
