<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-S7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-92-2, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND SECTION 18.100 <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend Chapter <br />18.100 (POlitical Signs and Community Event Sign <br />Ordinance) of the Municipal Code to allow the temporary <br />use of banners for religious institutions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of July 8, 1992, the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section L Recommends approval of Case RZ-92-2, the application of <br />the city of Pleasanton to amend Chapter 18.100 (Political <br />Signs and Community Event Sign Ordinance) of the <br />Municipal Code to allow the temporary use of banners for <br />religious institutions as shown on Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 8TH DAY OF JULY 1992 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />commissioners Mahern, McGuirk, Wright, and Chairman <br />Hovingh <br />None <br />Commissioner Michelotti <br />None <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />July 8, 1992 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~dd&~ <br />Peg ro <br />City Clerk <br />
