<br />. <br />'. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-53 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-92-2/PUD-92-5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for an amendment to <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from <br />"Public Health and Safety" to "Low Density Residential" <br />for an approximately 10 acre site located on the east <br />side of Foothill Road, north of the Verona Bridge; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a final EIR prepared and certified by the County of <br />Alameda, addressed the potential impacts of residential <br />development on this site, and measures were adopted and <br />included as part of the conditions of approval of the <br />development, or incorporated into the project by design, <br />which mitigated to an insignificant level those impacts <br />identified as having a significant or potentially <br />significant adverse effect on the environment; therefore, <br />no additional environmental review is required; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing on June 10, 1992, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed General <br />Plan amendment is consistent with the goals and policies <br />of the General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THB PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-92-2/PUD-92-5, the <br />application of the city of Pleasanton to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from "Public Health <br />and Safety" to "Low Density Residential" for an approximately <br />10 acre site located on the east side of Foothill Road, north <br />of the Verona Bridge. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
