AN ORDINANG AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 8Z OF THE T0~TN 0F <br /> PI~ASAI~TGN BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO TO BE KNOWN <br /> AS SEOT I0N l~-A <br /> <br />~iThe Town Council of the Town Of Pleasanton do ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section I of Ordinance No. 85 of the Town of Pleasant on is hereby amended <br /> <br />!by adding a new section thereto to be known as SECTION 14-A and to be placed <br />between Sections 14 and 15 of said ordinance, and which is to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 14-A: Wherever any property receiving water service in the Town <br /> of Pleasanto~f~ is .p.~cupied by a tenant and the owner of sa~d property <br /> shall requesF~[~t~he Town of Pleasant on procure a deposit from said <br /> tenant to guaranty the payment of water service, the Town Engineer shall <br /> collect from a~V such te,t~t the sum of TWO & 50/100 ($2.50) DOtLARS <br /> for each service, which amount shall be :..deposited in the Town Treasury <br /> and held as a guaranty for the payment of all water service delivered <br /> or made to said tenant. Upon the discontinmance of such water service <br /> the tenant shall be entitled to receive back said deposit, less ant <br /> amounts owing to the Town of Pleasant on for water service, and upon <br /> the discontinnance of any water service to any such tenant, the amount <br /> of money so deposited by a tenant will first be applied to the payment <br /> of ax~It indebtedness owing l~t such tenant to the Town of Pleasant on for <br /> water service before such indebtedness shall become a lien upon the <br /> real property, as provided in Section 14 hereof. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This Ordinance shall he published once in the Pleasant on <br /> Times and shall become effective thirty days from and after its final <br /> passage. <br /> <br /> Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Pleasant c~ <br />!~eld on the ~ day of/~t,/~2c~' by Councilman ~.~ ~~- <br /> Passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the Town of Pleasant on held <br /> ;on the 7 °' day of, ~, the followin <br /> <br /> AsSE r: / <br /> <br /> !!
