ATTACHMENT C <br /> <br /> CONTRACT <br /> <br /> FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF CITY GATEWAY SIGNAGE <br /> <br /> PROJECT NO. 998043 <br /> <br /> THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this day of ,20 <br />by and between , ("Contractor"), whose address is <br /> ., and telephone number is and the CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for Installation of <br />City Gateway Signage, Project No. 998043. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Work to be Performed. <br /> <br /> The work will consist of Fabricating and installing nine (9) City monument signs <br /> in City roadway medians at various locations. Works shall also include planting <br /> and irrigation. <br /> <br /> Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and <br /> service necessary by these plans and Special Provisions. <br /> <br /> Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br /> file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein <br /> by this reference: <br /> <br /> A. Plans and Specifications entitled the Fabrication and Installation <br /> of City Gateway Signage, Project No. 998043 and addenda thereto, <br /> if any. <br /> <br /> B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br /> accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br /> <br /> C. The proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor. <br /> <br />2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br /> the trait prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City.
