THE CITY OF <br /> <br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> May 3, 2005 <br /> Finance Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT Monthly Disbursements, Investment Report, and COPS AB3229 <br /> Expenditure Reports for March 2005 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends the City Council: <br /> <br /> Approve claims for the month of March 2005 in the amount of <br /> $9,133,022.82. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council: <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Staff presents to Council a monthly report of the City's disbursements and a report of the City's current <br />investment portfolio, in accordance with the City's investment policy. <br /> <br />In October 2002, the City received $131,494, the seventh year funding for the Citizens Option for Public <br />Safety Program (COPS AB 1584). In October 2003, the City received $100,000, the eighth year funding <br />for the Citizens Option for Public Safety Program (COPS AB1584). Attached are the required monthly <br />expenditure and investment reports for Council's review. <br /> <br /> Attached are the monthly disbursements and investment reports for the month of March 2005.
