<br />Resolution No. PC-93-29 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Given the nature of the proposed use and the hours <br />of operation, the proposal would not impact <br />surrounding uses. In addition, the proposed use <br />has adequate parking to meet projected demand. The <br />proposed use will not subject surrounding uses to <br />heavy truck traffic, hazardous odors, or other <br />objectionable influences. The proposed use will <br />also comply with applicable Building and Fire <br />Codes. Conditions of approval have also been <br />recommended which would ensure that any unforeseen <br />impact is adequately mitigated. Based on the <br />aforementioned, the project will not be detrimental <br />to the pUblic health, safety, or welfare. <br /> <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />As conditioned, the proposed use will <br />all provisions and requirements of <br />zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />comply with <br />the city's <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the proposed <br />conditional use, as conditioned, will be compatible with <br />the surrounding uses and properties. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNXNG COMMXSSXON OF THE CXTY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWXNG: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-93-24, the application of Karen Doster <br />for a conditional use permit to establish a children's <br />gymnasium/activity center (Gymboree) at the Hacienda <br />Retail Plaza located at 5688 stoneridge Drive (Hacienda <br />Business Park Lot 37B), subject to the conditions shown <br />on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made part of this case <br />by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that <br />time. <br />
