PLANNXNG COMMXSSXON CXTY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-93-07 RESOLUTXON RECOMMENDXNG DENXAL OF CASE RZ-92-6, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO MODIFY THE ZONING ORDXNANCE TO ELIMINATE THE DESIGN REVXEW BOARD AND TO TRANSFER XTS FUNCTXONS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSXON AND ZONXNG ADMXNXSTRATOR WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Municipal Code to eliminate the Design Review Board and to transfer its functions to the planning commission and Zoning Administrator; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 27, 1993, the Planning commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the city staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, the planning commission was unable to find that there is an economic reason to eliminate the Design Review Board. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNXNG COMMXSSXON OF THE CXTY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWXNG: Section 1. Recommends denial of Case RZ-92-6, the application of the city of Pleasanton to amend the Municipal Code to eliminate the Design Review Board and to transfer its functions to the Planning commission and Zoning Administrator. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
