<br />The report is divided into six major sections, including section 1 - <br />this introduction. Additional sections are as follows: <br /> <br />. Section 2 presents significant impacts of the project that <br />were identified in the EIR, the findings for these impacts and <br />the rationales for the findings. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />development <br />rationales. <br /> <br />presents significant impacts of cumulative <br />in Pleasanton and corresponding findings and <br /> <br />. Section 5 presents the statement of overriding Considerations <br />for significant impacts or issues related to the project that <br />cannot or have not been mitigated or resolved. <br /> <br />. section 6 lists the mitigation monitoring recommendations <br />included in the FEIR. <br /> <br />The approval of the Castlewood Heights residential proposal is a <br />"project" as defined by CEQA (Public Resource Code 21000 et seq.), <br />requiring preparation of an EIR. The city has prepared and certified an <br />EIR that satisfies the requirements of CEQA. In that EIR, the City <br />identified certain significant adverse impacts that could occur with the <br />approval and implementation of the project. Those impacts are <br />summarized later in this document. <br /> <br />The DEIR and FEIR that were prepared for the project are incorporated in <br />this document by reference, and the reader is referred to them for <br />detailed information on the impacts, mitigation measures, and <br />alternatives. Copies of the documents are available for review at the <br />City of Pleasanton planning Department, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, california 94566-0802.
