<br />, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the success of the plan is dependent upon development <br />occurring in a timely manner; thus it will become <br />necessary to either modify the current Growth <br />Management Program or allocate all or most of the <br />available units to the ridgeland's development, thereby <br />restricting the city's ability to meet its other <br />General Plan housing objectives; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this General Plan Amendment has no accompanying <br />specific development plan, and, therefore, leaves many <br />policies outlined in the Plan subject to future <br />interpretation and compromise. <br /> <br />NOW, THERBFORB, THB PLANNXNG COMKXSSXON OF THB CXTY OF PLEASANTON <br />RBSOLVES THE FOLLOWXNG: <br /> <br />section 1. After careful consideration and analysis, opposes <br />the Pleasanton Ridgelands General Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />section 2.
