<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNXA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL FOR CASE AP-91-12, THEREBY <br />APPROVING CASE Z-91-86, THE APPLICATION OF MR. AND MRS. <br />DOUGLAS BROBST <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Brobst has applied for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 6,320 square foot <br />single-family residence on a 42,300 square foot (0.97 <br />acre) lot located at 2084 Valley Oak Court (Golden Eagle <br />Farm II, Tract 6033, Lot 26); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />- Low Density Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Design Review Board approved the project at a public <br />hearing held on November 26, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 10, 1991, the <br />Commission appealed the Design Review Board'S <br />citing concerns with the size of the proposed <br />its potential for high visibility in this <br />sensitive location; and <br /> <br />Planning <br />approval, <br />house and <br />visually <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 8, 1992, <br />the Planning commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the city staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the project, as <br />conditioned, is appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies Case AP-91-12, thereby approving Case Z-91-86, <br />the application of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Brobst for design <br />review approval to construct an approximately 6,320 <br />square foot single-family residence on a 42,300 square <br />foot (0.97 acre) lot located at 2084 Valley Oak Court <br />(Golden Eagle Farm II, Tract 6033, Lot 26), subject to <br />the conditions approved by the Design Review Board with <br />the following modifications: <br />
