<br /> AN ORDINANCE TO PREVENT CERTAIN ANIMALS FROM RUNNING
<br /> AT LARGE WITHIN TEE TOWN OF PLEASANTON]' AND REGULATING TEE
<br /> ISIVING, HERDING OR PASSAGE OF SUCH ANIMALS THROUGH THE
<br /> STREETS OF SAID TOWN:
<br /> The Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton do
<br /> ordain as follows:
<br /> Section 1. It is hereby declared unlawful for any ox,
<br /> bull, cow, horse, colt, Jack, mule, stallion, calf, sheep,
<br />· goat, hog or' pig to run at large in the Town of Pleasanton,
<br />
<br /> pose of grazing, in any of the streets, lanes, al~leys,
<br /> courts, places, public squares ..st ether grounds belonging to
<br /> or under the control of said Town of ~leasanton, and it shall
<br /> be unlawful for any of such animals, or stock of any kind
<br /> to be tied, staked, pastured, or to run at large upon ar~
<br /> private property within the limits of the Town of Pleasanton
<br /> unless by consent of the owner or occupant of such property:
<br />
<br /> Section 2. It is hereby declared unlawful for any
<br />
<br /> person or party to move, drive, lead~ ~ or in anywise
<br /> transport, or to attempt to move, drive, lead, herd or in
<br /> anywise transport, any ox, bull, cow, horse, colt, jack,
<br /> mule, stallion, calf, sheep, goat, hog or pigs, or any other
<br /> animal or animals, or any number of such animals, through or
<br /> upon the streets of the Town of Pleasanton, or any part of
<br /> any street or the streets thereof, unless such animals or
<br /> animal are or is completely within the custody and control
<br /> of the owner thereof, or of some responsible person duly
<br /> authorized by the owner thereof:

<br /> Section 3. Any person who shall violate any of the pro-
<br />
<br /> visions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
<br />
