PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-02 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-94-0S WHEREAS, the Pleasanton city Employees Association has applied for design review approval to construct a 32' long by 15' wide redwood arbor with a total height of approximately 12', in recognition of the city of Pleasanton's Centennial Celebration, to be located between the parking lots of 200 Old Bernal Avenue and the Pleasanton city Library; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Public District; and Civic overlay WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 26, 1994, the planning Commission, considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the proposed project will be compatible with the existing building and other structures in the Civic center, and, therefore, will be consistent with the purpose of the Civic Overlay District. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case Z-94-05, the application of the Pleasanton City Employees Association for design review approval to construct a 32' long by 15' wide redwood arbor with a total height of approximately 12', in recognition of the City of Pleasanton's Centennial Celebration, to be located between the parking lots of 200 Old Bernal Avenue and the Pleasanton city Library, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made part of this case by reference.
