<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF RED BEAR, INC. FOR A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />GPA-95-02 AND PUD-95-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Red Bear, Inc. has submitted an application for a General Plan Amendment to <br />redesignate five parcels totalling approximately 2.88 acres from Low Density <br />Residential to High Density Residential; and Planned Unit Development rezoning <br />from R-I-20,000 to PUD (Planned Unit Development) - High Density Residential <br />and development plan approval to construct a 97-unit, two-story apartment <br />complex for reduced-income senior citizens located at 4023, 4031, 4049, and <br />4073 Stanley Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 29, 1995, the Planning Commission received a <br />proposed negative declaration for Case GPA-95-02/PUD-95-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />September 1, 1995, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case <br />GP A-95-02/PUD-95-06, the application of Red Bear, Inc. for a General Plan Amendment <br />to redesignate five parcels totalling approximately 2.88 acres from Low Density <br />Residential to High Density Residential; and Planned Unit Development rezoning from <br />R-I-20,000 to PUD (Planned Unit Development) - High Density Residential and <br />development plan approval to construct a 97-unit, two-story apartment complex for <br />reduced-income senior citizens located at 4023, 4031, 4049, and 4073 Stanley Boulevard. <br /> <br />II I I . <br />
