CONCLUSION <br />As in prior years, staff is pleased with the scope, variety, and merit of the applications which <br />have been received for funding through the City's CDBG and HOME programs. Staff concurs <br />with the allocations recommended by the HSC and HC. If the Council approves the <br />recommended funding allocation for FY 2005, staff will proceed to enter into contracts with <br />each individual agency prior to the beginning of the fiscal year on July 1. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Council adopt the attached draft resolution to: <br />1) Approve an amendment to the funding allocation approved by the City Council in April 2003 <br />and April 2004 for FY 2005 (2005/06) by adding the following: <br /> <br /> AGENCY PROJECT DESCRIPTION FUNDING SOURCE <br /> Easter Seals Bay Area Td-Valley Community Inclusion Program $5,000 CDBG <br /> Spectrum Community Services Senior congregate/home delivered meal service $8,238 CDBG <br /> Axis Community Health Replace wheelchair ramps at Railroad St. clinic $21,838 CDBG <br /> CAPE, Inc. Hill 'n' Dale Preschool rehab improvements $10,000 CDBG <br /> Tri-Valley Haven Commercial appliances for shelter facility $19,345 CDBG <br /> GRID Alternatives Solar Afl. Housing rehab, program $35,524 CDBG <br /> Allied Housing, Inc.
