While the need for significant public street improvements in the Downtown target area has been <br />largely satisfied, the City continues to provide CDBG funds to assist non-profit agencies with <br />capital improvement projects in order to enhance service delivery. During the next five years <br />(based on past trends), the City expects to allocate at least 30 percent of its annual grant toward <br />capital improvement projects. <br />Short and Long Term Objectives <br />The objectives presented in this section reflect the broad areas which will be pursued under this <br />priority.
