<br />, <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-82 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR CASE GPA-95-02 AND THE APPLICATION OF RED BEAR, <br />INC. FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 2.88 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT <br />4023, 4031, 4049, AND 4073 STANLEY BOULEVARD TO THE "HIGH <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Red Bear, Inc. has submitted an application to change the <br />land use designation of an approximately 2.88 acre site <br />located at 4023, 4031, 4049, and 4073 Stanley Boulevard <br />from Medium Density Residential to High Density <br />Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 25, 1995, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case GPA-95-02; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 1, 1995, and received the <br />recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal, and the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed amendment to the Land Use Element designation of <br />the General Plan would no have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the amended land <br />use designation would facilitate a use for the site which <br />would create little impact on the existing neighborhood <br />and is consistent with the City's General plan policies. <br /> <br />. <br />
