<br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-71 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED PUD REZONING AND <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-95-03, THE <br />APPLICATION OF LYNDEN HOMES (LYNN JANSEN), IS CONSISTENT <br />WITH THE GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lynden Homes (Lynn Jansen) has applied for Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) approval to rezone a 1.01 acre parcel <br />from the Agricultural zoning district to the PUD - MDR <br />(Medium Density Residential) District and for PUD <br />development plan approval over a total of 4.30~ acres <br />(two existing parcels) of land for a 13-unit single- <br />family residential development located at 1777 and 1635 <br />Rose Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property located at 1635 Rose Avenue is <br />A (Agriculture); and zoning for the property located at <br />1777 Rose Avenue is MDR (Medium Density Residential); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of August 9, 1995, the <br />Planning commission recommended adoption of the Negative <br />Declaration prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September 27, 1995, <br />the Planning Commission considered all pUblic testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the city staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed PUD <br />rezoning and development plan are consistent with the <br />General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Finds that Case PUD-95-03, the application of Lynden <br />Homes (Lynn Jansen) for Planned unit Development (PUD) <br />approval to rezone a 1.01 acre parcel from the <br />Agricultural zoning district to the PUD - MDR (Medium <br />Density Residential) District and for PUD development <br />plan approval over a total of 4.30~ acres (two existing <br />parcels) of land for a 13-unit single-family residential <br />development located at 1777 and 1635 Rose Avenue is <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
