<br />approval of the City Engineer/Director of Building Inspection. The applicant IS <br />responsible for ensuring that the contractor is aware of and implements such measures. <br /> <br />43. The applicant shall design the on-site drainage system for the individual lots in such a <br />manner that the storm water runoff is filtered through a landscape area and then <br />transported through a drain inlet to the storm drainage system in the adjacent public street. <br />These specific details shall be submitted for review and approval of the City Engineer and <br />Planning Director prior to approval of the final map. <br /> <br />UTILITIES <br /> <br />44. All utilities required to serve any eXlstmg or proposed development on-site shall be <br />installed underground, unless otherwise determined by the City Engineer. The final design <br />of the utility systems shall be subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer. <br /> <br />45. Electric power distribution, gas distribution, communication service, Cable television, and <br />any required alarm systems shall be installed underground in a joint utility trench unless <br />otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer or Director of Building Inspection <br />for on-site. <br /> <br />46. The developer shall be responsible for the installation of the street lighting system serving <br />the development. The street lighting plan for Calle Ricardo shall also address the <br />provision oflight for the meandering sidewalk along the east side of the street. The street <br />lights shall be 70 watt, high pressure sodium vapor units mounted on galvanized steel <br />poles with poured in place bases, on the LS-2A schedule per City requirements and <br />P.G.&E. standard details, unless otherwise specifically approved. Approval for the <br />number, location, and type of electroliers shall be subject to the review and approval of the <br />City Engineer prior to the approval of the final map. <br /> <br />47. The developer's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City Engineer <br />prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />48. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or <br />sleeping quarters on the construction site All such vehicles shall be removed from the site <br />at the end of each work day. <br /> <br />49. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible from existing <br />residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor <br /> <br />50. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. <br />
