<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-68 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF NEW <br />CITIES DEVELOPMENT GROUP FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO <br />CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 7.57 ACRE <br />SITE LOCATED AT 5701 BLACK AVENUE TO THE "MEDIUM DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-95-1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the New cities Development Group has submitted an <br />application to change the land use designation of an <br />approximately 7.57 acre site located at 5701 Black Avenue <br />to the "Medium Density Residential" designation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of September 27, 1995, <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of a <br />proposed Negative Declaration for Case GP-95-1 after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this <br />proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the amended land <br />use designation would facilitate a use for the site which <br />would have the least impact on the existing neighborhood. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Recommends approval of the application of the New <br />Cities Development Group to amend the General Plan to <br />change the land use designation of an approximately 7.57 <br />acre site located at 5701 Black Avenue to the "Medium <br />Density Residential" designation. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />- <br />
